Things to see in Langtang trek

Langtang Base Camp trek Best time
From March to May just before the monsoon season when it’s still hot and warm, trekkers love to ascend. November to January when the temperature is low and snow is divulged and thick the trek is amazing.
Langtang Lirung Base Camp without a guide
Well, yes it’s possible, but I suggest not to. Langtang Valley trek is far more remote than Everest Base Camp trek and Annapurna Base Camp trek, so it’s not safe to go without a guide. When you can get one in less than $20 dollar a day, why to risk up things? If you are not hiring a guide, hire a porter who can make your trip far less strenuous and help give you a better insight into the culture. Langtang trek is easy with a guide.
Travel package for Langtang trek
Travel package offers everything neatly arranged for you, from airport transfers, accommodation, porters and/or guides and their insurance. So it’s an easier and safe option. The packages are analogously cheap if you book it on Kathmandu. But without a package, you would save almost 40% to 25%, so backpackers trekkers might also go without one. Langtang trek packing
Pack lightly- aim for less than 15kg. A fleece jacket, two pairs
of long pants, three T-shirts (synthetic fabrics – not cotton), and a warm
jumper or light fleece goes best. Lightly broken-in boots, trekking socks, and
also sneakers or sandals make the hike possible. Don’t forget- raincoat,
gloves, woolen hat, sunhat, polarized sunglasses and a good sleeping bag.
Toiletries, good sunscreen, lip balm, travel towel, and tissues are compulsory.
Your first aid kit and 1L water bottles with water purification tablets make
the trip safe and healthy.
Langtang Base difficulty
No real problem- Langtang valley trek is less steep and is easily possible for people with average fitness. The trek is moderately hard, and easily possible if you go slow and steady.

Langtang trek route map
The trek starts from Syabrubesi (1,550m) which is around 8 hours’ drive from Kathmandu. Another day you hit a walk at Langtang-Gosainkunda trail for 6 hours. You hike your way through Doman (1685m), and then across the Landslide Lodge (1810m) and finally crash at Lama Hotel after you cross a suspension bridge which opens up to Rimche (2400m).
Another day is a couple of hours hike to reach Ghora Tabela (2970m) and walk through Langtang National Park to reach Langtang valley (3430m) where you would probably crash for a night. Making your way through Yak pasture, another day is a climb up to ancient Kyangjin Gompa (3740m). You would probably love to spend one more day in Kyangjin Gompa exploring the nearby hills and enjoying the panoramic view of Langtang ranges and nearby mountains. Enjoy both sunrise and sunset from Kyangjin Gompa before you descend through the same route. But you can also Trek to Syabru and then to Singh Gompa to explore the beauty of the Gosaikunda before you drive back to Kathmandu.
